There's a lot of uncertainty as we enter the season of summer 2021. That includes how in which our service to the society will incorporate the highly appreciated connections between people which Rotary members have experienced during previous time. Though the mantra of hands faces will certainly remain a part of our daily practice, it's evident that the confidence building is evident and face-to-face reconnections are happening. The Rotary organization has evolved. As we flow through the summer of 2021, there remains a continuing level of uncertainty about whether our social service includes the highly valued human connection experienced by Rotary participants in the past. Although the mantra of hands face space' is sure to remain a part of our daily routine it is apparent that confidence is building and more face-to-face connections are being made. Rotary is evolving. Rotary has evolved. In addition to our meetings that are online for business meetings and social interactions, we've brought back the concept of social interaction and service with a more secure face-to-face way. To build the foundation for a brighter future for Rotary and our members, we've tapped into opportunities created by the epidemic and our previous practices. As proud as I am to see that Rotary Centre continues to support the communities of Great Britain and Ireland, Rotary Center continues to fund the many community projects that benefit the people who are members of Rotary and ensure their safety Compliance and insurance are vital. The imagination and creativity of our members to find solutions to the most challenging challenges is astounding and I am so thankful that the opportunity to become a member of Rotary was offered to me in 2002. Much like many, Rotary have provided me with the security of a solid network of likeminded people with whom genuine relationships have been formed over the last 20 years.
