Tara Reid started with commercials in her early years and later was noticed when she appeared on Saved by the Bell: The New Class. While her acting skills have been under the scanner she has without doubt pulled off her roles with ease. Her biggest break came when she played Bunny, in The Big Lebowski. This film proved to be a stepping stone in her career. She began to get better offers with movies like Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. American Pie, a cult movie about teenage girls and their sexual encounters in love, was one of the factors that brought Reid a Hollywood superstar. The actress played sexually virgin Vicky in this movie. All this did not lead to a hugely successful Hollywood career. Reid suffered several failures, including unfavorable films like Josie and the Pussycats. Her career waned despite a small role in American Pie 2. The offscreen mistakes of Reid, well-publicized and disastrous plastic surgery and her many performances that have been a blink and miss, has resulted in her becoming more of an event-goer or designer rather than an actress.
